POKEMAS LAB GUIDE
Keep track of conditional effects
Advanced search finds candidates by their effects. Check when, on whom and under which conditions the effect works to identify the team's needed roles.
Search includes effects unlocked by upgrades
The site classifies advanced effect tags from Japanese names and descriptions of moves, passives, grids and Superawakening. These are site classifications, not an official taxonomy; omissions and errors are possible. Search is not limited to effects available without upgrades.
In advanced-search evidence, check whether the source is a move, grid tile or Superawakening. Read move-level and unlock requirements, targets and timing. Switch forms if moves or skills change.
Distinguish field setup from extension
Setup creates weather or a field; extension increases its duration. A pair benefiting from sun or rain cannot necessarily create that weather. Read the evidence behind each candidate.
EX weather, terrain and zones have setup search categories. The current search has no EX-extension categories. Do not confuse normal extensions with EX setup; check the original effect's scope.
All-effect matching finds candidates with multiple effects but does not establish simultaneous activation or grid compatibility. Tags may include effects from different forms.
Check master passive names
Search uses supporting labels for Flag Bearer (balanced), Pride (physical), Spirit (special) and Charisma (type boost). These aid discovery. Check skill descriptions for actual multipliers and eligible pairs.
Other master categories in the snapshot use regional names. Find regional Head Start under gauge, uses and sync effects, rather than master-passive names. Some pairs also match countdown reduction, but not all countdown effects are classified as Head Start.
Checks for practical use
For a sun team, choose sun setup or extension according to your purpose and check the supporting moves or tiles. Read whether it applies on entry, after sync or with required upgrades. If a condition does not fit, consider whether another teammate can cover the role.
Yellow highlights indicate search matches, not team optimality or guaranteed effects.
