Total Duration Top 10

How many seconds can a pair maintain a field after using all its available deployment moves and skills? This article compares weather, terrain, zones, and circles in one table, and introduces the ten highest-ranked individual pairs. These reference totals include passive and Sync Grid duration extensions, assuming one successful activation of each supported random recovery effect.

Normal and EX fields share one ranking. Each pair is represented by its longest-lasting single target. Open “View this Sync Grid” to inspect the selected tiles and paths.

Overall top 10 by total duration

We redeploy the same field until available uses and recovery are exhausted, then compare the total active duration. Coverage percentage is not the ranking metric. Each supported random effect such as MP recovery is assumed to succeed once at its first eligible opportunity; this is distinct from guaranteed results and expected values.

If a pair can use several fields, we list its longest-lasting single target. We do not add different fields or combine normal and EX duration. Equal totals share a rank; at most ten pairs are listed.

Deployment counts include normal moves, buddy moves, max moves, and first-sync role effects. Check each pair’s deployment breakdown. A buddy move that spends another move’s remaining MP shares that move’s use pool.

How total duration is extended

Total duration increases through longer individual deployments, repeated deployment, and MP recovery for deployment moves. We check actual opportunities to activate them, including entry, first-sync, and attack conditions. Multiplying initial move uses alone can miss move changes, unlock conditions, and wasted recovery.

A normal redeployment updates the expiration time from that deployment. It does not simply add the old remaining time, and overlapping intervals are not counted twice.

Arc Suit Korrina’s MP-zero effect adds a deployment, not MP recovery.

Count one first-success deployment plus one from the matching grid tile when the same buddy move’s MP first reaches zero. With its duration-extension grid, one category has a reference total of 110 seconds × 2 = 220 seconds. Physical and Special are not summed. The user must remain out of a pinch; overlapping deployments can yield 148 active seconds in a 180-second comparison.

For EX weather, terrain, and zones, deploy the matching normal field while the EX field is still active to extend its remaining duration. For example, pair an EX Fighting Zone setter with a normal Fighting Zone setter. A normal deployment after the EX field expires cannot extend that EX field.

To extend coverage with a team

Search separately for EX setters and extension candidates

Search separately for EX Zone setters, candidates that deploy the matching normal zone, and skills that extend duration when setting a field.

Find EX Zone setters →Find zone setters, including normal zones →Find zone duration-extension skills →

The setter search also includes effects that only set EX fields. For extension partners, confirm that the original description can deploy the matching zone without the EX prefix. A duration-extension skill search does not automatically identify a normal setter that can extend an EX field.

EX weather and EX terrain setters can be found in the same way.

How to use the Sync Grid links and field calculator

  1. Choose a pair from the ranking.Check the target field, total seconds, deployment count, and required training. Gaps when the field is inactive are excluded.
  2. Open “View this Sync Grid ↗.”The detail page opens the selected tiles, evaluated move level, and energy budget from the calculation. Check the connecting paths and effects against your own training.
  3. Use the dedicated calculator to compare a specified battle time.Choose the weather, terrain, zone, or circle, move level, and Sync Grid energy budget. Import Tracker data to search only your owned pairs.
Look for the purple Sync Grid buttons.

The minimum level required for selected tiles is shown separately from the move level used in this evaluation. The lowest level that unlocks the tiles may not produce the same total duration.

The dedicated calculator’s 180- and 270-second comparisons measure coverage within a selected battle time. That metric differs from this article’s total duration without a battle-time cutoff.

Calculation conditions and limitations

Open each pair’s “Deployment and extension effects” to inspect original move and skill text and IDs. Use the Sync Grid button to view the selected tiles and paths.

For EX priority and extension using the matching normal field, see the officialEX Weather explanation、EX Zone explanation、EX Terrain explanation. A bug involving the transition from normal to EX fields was addressed in theVersion 2.64.0 update notes. Those descriptions do not confirm all base durations or every extension condition.

Duration rankings alone do not determine damage or durability. After choosing an attacker, explore the damage calculator and team search.
