Ethan and Carmine do not hit the Psychic weakness, so their attacks score zero here. Their sync buffs, fields, stat increases and boosts still support team damage.

Here, a damage dealer meansa pair responsible for damage. Other normal roles can also deal damage. Strike/EX Strike restrictions and same-type mode are disabled in this comparison.

Read results as who uses which move
The total isThree attacks with carried-over setup-sync effects plus the following damage sync. Setup-sync damage itself is excluded.
This is not the complete sequence of buttons to press in battle.
Prepare stat buffs, buddy-move activation, boosts and fields, and progress countdown for required syncs. Preparation actions and animation time are excluded from this damage index.
Roles in the leading candidate
- Ethan:Setup sync raises the sync buff to 3. Its attack damage is zero, but it supports allies.
- Sabrina:Sets EX Psychic Terrain and attacks with Almighty Psybeam. This example uses Alakazam's form.
- Hilda:Uses Shining Sword Psyblade and the damage sync. Prepare Attack, critical-hit rate and physical boosts first.
The evaluated attack order isEthan setup sync → Ethan buddy move → Sabrina buddy move → Hilda buddy move → Hilda damage sync. Also check field replacement and boost consumption.
Yellow activation prerequisites meanmeet this condition through teammates' actions or other means. Expand applied effects and move conditions, and damage effects without numeric application, too.

Points to check in this calculation
Damage indices compare move power, stats, fields and sync buffs. They exclude enemy defenses, reduction, rolls, remaining HP, status damage over time and attack counts within the time limit.
Check search scope and unapplied effects
We first searched all 664 pairs without grids using one to three damage dealers. From 76 Psychic attack candidates, the top 24 and narrowed helper teams were evaluated. Nine selected teams were then compared with three existing generated grid presets and no grid; eight calculable teams are shown. This is not an exhaustive optimum over every team and grid.
Some effects are not applied automatically in the leading team: Hilda's Unwavering Steel Justice, Shining Blades of the Future and T-Move: Physical Boost ↑2 9; Sabrina's Confusion Synergy 3; Ethan's Earth-Shaking Roar, among others. Names and reasons remain in the saved simulation. Applying them or changing their prerequisites may alter the ranking.
Non-Psychic attacks, including helper attacks, score zero. If a candidate needs a sync-triggered form change, check whether that sync can actually be used.
