Compare physical Grass teams with Archie

By SciPocket · October 15, 2026 · Data: 2026-10-14

How much can Archie (Fall 2026) & Wo-Chien change your physical Grass team? We kept two pairs fixed and replaced Red & Snorlax with Archie in three team examples.

Across these fixed comparisons, the team firepower index rose to about 1.86–3.90 times the baseline. Here is why the gains differ, and how to compare your own roster.

The baseline is the same core with Red.
This is not a comparison against the strongest team without Archie, or a measurement of in-game damage. All three cores can access normal Grassy Terrain. The calculations use move level 3 and no sync grids.

Start with three team comparisons

Each row sets its own team with Red to 100. The baselines differ between rows, so this table does not rank the three damage dealers against each other.

Support slot: Red → Archie / move level 3, no grids
Fixed coreWith RedWith ArchieIndex change
Florian (Anniversary 2026) + Adaman100.0283.72.84× (+183.7%)
Victor + Sygna Suit Lyra100.0185.81.86× (+85.8%)
Sygna Suit Erika + Sygna Suit Lyra100.0390.43.90× (+290.4%)

The index adds one attack per pair and the main damage dealer’s sync move. The support’s preparation sync contributes no damage; the evaluated window starts with two sync buffs afterward. Archie’s own physical Grass attack also contributes, so the ratio is not the multiplier on the main damage dealer’s individual hit.

The gain comes from more than EX Grassy Terrain

Reapplying normal Grassy Terrain does not downgrade active EX Grassy Terrain. These are snapshots while the field is active; extra duration itself is not counted as extra damage.

What changes for each core?

This example supports Florian’s Tera Move and Adaman’s buddy move with EX terrain and physical boosts. The evaluated main attack is Green Jasper Tera Blast in both teams. The chosen order puts Archie’s attack first so later allies receive its physical boost.

The Physical Move Break from Florian’s Tera Move is credited to subsequent attacks and the sync move, not the hit that first applies it. The snapshot uses his Terastal Form; verify the form setup and required actions separately.

With Red: three attacks 36,309,363 + damage sync 11,747,835 = total 48,057,198

With Archie: three attacks 108,935,409 + damage sync 27,387,882 = total 136,323,291

Both teams evaluate G-Max Drum Solo. Ordinary Physical Moves ↑ Next does not apply to Max Moves, so Archie’s physical boost is not multiplied onto Victor’s Max Move. The difference instead includes EX terrain, sync-move support, and the combined attacks of all three pairs.

The same support can have a different value for regular attacks and Max Moves. To compare a Drum Beating-focused setup, restrict the move kind in the tool and run the comparison again.

Sygna Suit Erika + Sygna Suit Lyra

This starts with normal Grassy Terrain from Sygna Suit Lyra and upgrades it through Archie. Both teams evaluate Solar Blade. Erika still needs sun, so setting EX terrain does not replace her Sunny Day setup.

The sun-dependent intrinsic multiplier of Solar Serenity Leaf Blade is unspecified in this calculation. Treat the 3.90× ratio as a model result, not a guaranteed in-game damage gain, and check enemy conditions and grids in the damage calculator.

What to check in your roster before scouting

If your physical Grass core can already handle its Attack and critical-hit setup, it has partners ready to use Archie’s EX terrain and team-wide boosts. If your damage dealer still needs investment or basic offensive buffs, adding Archie alone will not complete that setup.

This comparison does not evaluate survival, healing, field duration, or scouting cost. Use it as one input: decide which pair Archie would replace and which attacks you want to improve, then compare that team with your own roster.

  1. Choose the physical Grass damage dealer you want to use. A saved calculation from this article restores its three pairs and training settings.
  2. A shared calculation limits the search to its three pairs. To explore other candidates, select the pairs you want in the roster list and adjust move levels, EX status, and grids.
  3. Exclude Archie as unowned, search with the same main damage dealer and objective, and save the result. Then restore Archie as owned, fix him as the support, and search again.
  4. If the tool also changes the third slot, that is a different comparison from our fixed-core examples. When other partners change, read the gain as a rebuilt-team result rather than Archie’s isolated buff multiplier.
  5. Review the evaluated moves, preparation sync user, field state, boost consumption order, and activation assumptions, not only the index. In battle, also check how many attacks fit before field effects expire.

Comparison settings and omitted factors

Search scopeTwo fixed core pairs plus Red, or the same core plus Archie. This is not a search for the global best team.
ObjectiveTotal physical Grass firepower across three opponents. Supereffective and non-supereffective damage disabled are ON, with no special rule. Non-Grass attacks count as zero.
InvestmentMove level 3 for every pair; 6★ EX and EX roles enabled; no Superawakening or sync grids.
Evaluation windowRed/Archie preparation sync → setup → one attack per pair → the main damage dealer’s sync. Starting sync buffs: 0.

The index omits enemy Defense and Sp. Def, real-damage changes from Grass Type Rebuff or Defense reduction, damage rolls, setup time, gauge balance, and the value of survival or healing. Buddy-move activation, Terastal forms, and active field effects are assumed. Unmodeled effects, including Victor’s conditional damage passives and Erika’s intrinsic sync multiplier, can change the difference.

Replacing a support other than Red changes the terrain, physical boosts, Supereffective ↑ Next, and other effects you start with. Do not reuse these ratios for a comparison against a different support such as Sygna Suit Acerola; start with the pair you would actually replace.
