Candidates below were selected by matching official tips to the site's move and grid data, not by clearing these teams in battle. Energy shown is each tile's cost, excluding its path.

Tapu Bulu: Limit Grassy Terrain healing

Grassy Terrain boosts Tapu Bulu's Grass moves and healing. Use trapping, confusion, flinching or status to interfere with recovery. Its physical attacks are strong, so combine Attack drops, Defense buffs and healing. Interference resistance increases when the effect wears off; prioritize use during Grassy Terrain.Official battle tips

30 candidates can replace Grassy Terrain

Search includes Electric, Psychic and Misty Terrain setup. Effects that only create normal or EX Grassy Terrain are excluded; pairs that can use other terrains are included.

Open 30 matching pairs →

Bianca and Musharna can replace the terrain with Psychic Terrain; Volkner and Luxray can use Electric Terrain. Move-refresh grid tiles may allow reapplication, but refresh is probabilistic.

Acerola&Palossand

Try flinching with one-gauge Astonish.

  • Astonish: Aggravation 1Move Lv. 1 · Energy 10

Increases extra-effect chances. Resistance strengthens each time interference ends, so use it while Grassy Terrain is active.

Plumeria&Salazzle

Uses Poison attacks and poisoning, adding flinching to Smog.

  • Smog: Staggering 4Move Lv. 2 · Energy 10
  • Hostile Environment 1Move Lv. 2 · Energy 3

Check Smog accuracy too. Flinching occurs probabilistically on a hit.

Bianca&Musharna

Replace Grassy Terrain with Psychic Terrain and support later reapplications.

  • Psychic Terrain: MP Refresh 3Move Lv. 1 · Energy 7

Refresh is probabilistic. Changing weather or zones alone does not remove Grassy Terrain.

Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.)&Chi-Yu (Tera Type: Fire)

A candidate combining Attack drops and trapping.

  • Overwhelm 9Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10
  • Fire Spin: Accuracy +10Move Lv. 2 · Energy 5

Fire attacks do not match the weakness. The grid adds Attack drops; Fire Spin supplies trapping.

Skyla&Swanna

Adds Gust flinching to healing and allied Defense buffs.

  • Gust: Staggering 1Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10
  • Potion: MP Refresh 2Move Lv. 1 · Energy 7

Two tiles share the flinch-effect name; the table shows one example. Move refresh is probabilistic.

Lucy&Seviper

Poison Fang's bad poison and Wrap's trapping interfere with healing.

  • Hostile Environment 1Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10
  • Wrap: Accuracy +5Move Lv. 1 · Energy 3

Status-chance increases support Poison Fang's extra effect. Trapping comes directly from Wrap.

Wallace&Milotic

Improve Whirlpool's accuracy when applying trapped status.

  • Whirlpool: Accuracy +10Move Lv. 1 · Energy 5

Mirror Coat is not a counter to Bulu's physical attacks.

Blue&Pidgeot

A candidate for special Flying damage and Air Slash flinching.

  • Air Slash: Aggravation 1Move Lv. 2 · Energy 10

Check which form has Air Slash. Weakness changes Flying → Poison → Flying.

Hilbert&Oshawott

Strengthens Waterfall interference and adds allied Defense support.

  • Waterfall: Aggravation 1Move Lv. 3 · Energy 8
  • X Speed All: Shielded 1Move Lv. 2 · Energy 3

Interference chance and allied Defense additions use separate tiles.

Sabrina&Alakazam

Try reusing Reflect against physical attacks.

  • Reflect: MP Refresh 4Move Lv. 1 · Energy 6

Refresh is probabilistic. Damage reduction does not protect against enemy critical hits, so this alone does not guarantee survival.

Volkner&Luxray

Electric Terrain can replace Grassy Terrain.

  • Electric Terrain: MP Refresh 2Move Lv. 1 · Energy 7

Refresh is probabilistic. Prepare separate damage support and defenses.

Ramos&Weepinbell

Improve Sleep Powder accuracy to stop actions.

  • Sleep Powder: Accuracy +10Move Lv. 2 · Energy 5

Accuracy tiles alone do not guarantee hits. Check resistance and enemy effect removal.

Latias: Weaken mitigation through multiple stat drops

Latias's stat-change-based damage reduction is stronger with raised stats and weaker with lowered stats. Prepare Sp. Atk, Defense, Speed and other drops instead of only Attack drops. From the second HP bar, also prepare for evasiveness.Official battle tips

345 candidates have multiple-stat drops

Pairs with means to lower at least two of Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy and evasiveness. Includes separate moves and random selection, not necessarily dropping multiple stats at once.

Ghetsis and Kyurem lower Attack and Sp. Atk with Noble Roar and strengthen the drops with grids. Lillie and Clefairy can add random stat drops to never-miss Disarming Voice.

Ghetsis&Kyurem

Strengthen Noble Roar's Attack and Sp. Atk drops. Glaciate also lowers Speed.

  • Noble Roar: Double DropMove Lv. 3 · Energy 10

This grid supports Noble Roar; Speed drops come from Glaciate.

Iris (Alt.)&Hydreigon

Adds Speed drops to Breaking Swipe's Attack and Snarl's Sp. Atk drops.

  • Dragon Rush: Trip Up 6Move Lv. 3 · Energy 8

Extra Speed drops have a 70% chance. Base moves provide Attack and Sp. Atk drops.

Lillie&Clefairy

Use never-miss Disarming Voice for random drops and X Accuracy All for allied accuracy.

  • Disarming Voice: Unfortuitous 9Move Lv. 3 · Energy 8

One random stat lowered by one rank each time, not seven stats together.

Marnie (Alt.)&Grimmsnarl

Adds random stat drops at move level 2. A never-miss buddy move also lowers Defense and Sp. Def.

  • Unfortuitous 9Move Lv. 2 · Energy 8

The buddy move activates after the user uses one move. Distinguish random drops from its guaranteed stat drops.

Bianca&Musharna

Adds random stat drops to attacks.

  • Unfortuitous 3Move Lv. 3 · Energy 8

40% chance, one randomly chosen stat. This does not replace a guaranteed debuffer.

Red&Venusaur

Adds guaranteed activation of random stat drops to attacks, with a possible healing role too.

  • Unfortuitous 9Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10

One randomly chosen stat each time. Requires a successful attack.

Sygna Suit Lysandre (Alt.)&Chi-Yu (Tera Type: Fire)

Repeatedly lowers both Attack and Sp. Atk; the buddy move can sharply lower other stats too.

  • Overwhelm 9Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10
  • Satisfied Snicker 9Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10

The buddy move activates after an ally uses one sync and deactivates after use. Its stat drop chooses one stat randomly.

Koga&Crobat

Repeated Sp. Def drops support special damage dealers.

  • Venoshock: Mind Games 9Move Lv. 3 · Energy 9

Lowers Sp. Def on a successful Venoshock. Combine with other pairs for multiple-stat drops.

Mina&Granbull

All-enemy Attack drops on entry and Charm suppress physical damage.

  • Terrify 1Move Lv. 3 · Energy 8

What Great Composition! copies raised stats; it does not remove buffs or apply debuffs.

Lear&Hoopa (Hoopa Confined)

Support Snatch's remaining uses for removing raised stats.

  • Snatch: MP Refresh 2Move Lv. 2 · Energy 5

Removing buffs differs from lowering stats below zero. Move refresh is probabilistic.

Brycen&Cryogonal

Support Haze's remaining uses for removing the opponent's buffs.

  • Haze: MP Refresh 2Move Lv. 2 · Energy 7

Removing buffs differs from lowering stats below zero. Move refresh is probabilistic.

Sabrina&Alakazam

Supports uses of ally-buff moves including accuracy increases to counter raised evasiveness.

  • Sixth Sense!: MP Refresh 3Move Lv. 1 · Energy 7

Read the move's accuracy buff amount and targets. The grid supports remaining uses.

Raikou: Stop power increases from raised Speed

From Raikou's second HP bar, and throughout the side enemies' presence, raised Speed increases move and sync power. Lower Speed while prioritizing side enemies or using area attacks. Critical hits bypass physical/special damage reduction; replace rain with other weather.Official battle tips

221 candidates have Speed drops

Includes Speed drops from grids as well as regular moves and passives, and random drops that can select Speed.

Kukui and Lycanroc strengthen Rock Tomb's Speed drops with their grid. Clay and Palpitoad have Mud Shot grid effects and regular Bulldoze for all-enemy Speed drops.

Kukui&Lycanroc (Midday Form)

Strengthens repeated single-target Speed drops and all-enemy Speed drops on entry.

  • Rock Tomb: Trip Up 9Move Lv. 2 · Energy 3
  • Trip Wire 2Move Lv. 2 · Energy 3

Rock Tomb's additional drop requires a hit. Entry-wide drops activate once.

Clay&Palpitoad

Strengthen Mud Shot's Speed drop; regular Bulldoze also covers all enemies.

  • Mud Shot: Trip Up 9Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10

Check Mud Shot accuracy. Bulldoze's base effect works without a grid.

Bertha&Hippowdon

Replace rain with sand and support allied critical-hit rates.

  • Sandstorm: MP Refresh 2Move Lv. 3 · Energy 7
  • Team Sharp Entry 1Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10

Entry sand cannot cover later rain alone. Use Sandstorm after rain starts. Move refresh is probabilistic.

Sonia&Yamper

Adds allied critical-hit-rate support to Attack and Defense buffs.

  • Ruff Buff!: Critical Squad 1Move Lv. 3 · Energy 10

Critical hits bypass enemy physical/special damage reduction. Assign another pair to replace rain.

Courtney&Camerupt

Adds another Speed drop to Bulldoze's all-enemy drop.

  • Bulldoze: Trip Up 4Move Lv. 3 · Energy 9

The added effect has a 50% chance. Ground Zone supports damage but does not replace rain.

Sophocles&Togedemaru

Add Speed drops alongside flinching attacks.

  • Zing Zap: Trip Up 2Move Lv. 2 · Energy 7

The added effect has a 30% chance. Another level-3 tile, Trip Up 4, is also available.

Ghetsis&Kyurem

Combines Glaciate's all-enemy Speed drop with Noble Roar's Attack and Sp. Atk drops.

  • Noble Roar: Double DropMove Lv. 3 · Energy 10

This grid strengthens Noble Roar; it does not double Glaciate's Speed drop.

Ingo&Excadrill

A candidate for sand, healing and critical-hit support.

  • Sandstorm: MP Refresh 2Move Lv. 3 · Energy 7
  • Potion: MP Refresh 3Move Lv. 3 · Energy 7

Sandstorm and healing move refresh are both probabilistic.

Acerola&Palossand

Support Sandstorm reapplication and allied critical-hit rates.

  • Sandstorm: MP Refresh 3Move Lv. 1 · Energy 7
  • Sandstorm: Focus Group 4Move Lv. 2 · Energy 7

Critical-hit-rate increases have a 50% chance here. One use is not treated as reaching maximum crit rate.

Hilbert&Oshawott

Adds allied critical-hit-rate support to attack support.

  • In This Together!: Critical Squad 2Move Lv. 3 · Energy 12

Combine with weather and Speed-drop counters.

Sabrina&Alakazam

Support the role of increasing allies' critical-hit rate with Dire Hit All.

  • Dire Hit All: Critical Squad 1Move Lv. 2 · Energy 6

Critical-hit support is separate from Speed drops and replacing rain.

If you can use move level 4,Cynthia & Garchompalso offers Dust Kicker after sync (energy 12) to replace rain. Check sync preparation and timing.
